Joanne Jacobs site, which contains a bunch of great stuff about the history of blogs, and lots of links to cool stuff in general). Anti-Idiotarians (also known as critical thinkers) seem to me to make up a very crucial portion of our society, the ones who tend toward the political mushy middle, or to less dogmatic philosophies such as libertarianism. They often make the decisions that effect the actual course of society, either by voting in elections based on thought rather than dogma, or by using their often considerable influence on society to steer companies, schools, and governments toward sensible, useful courses. It doesn't always work, and is always difficult, but it is worth it. Of course, the Bloggyverse allows the anti-Idiotarians to talk to one another, which just adds to our power. I will pontificate more on this at some later date.
