The Sum of All Fears. Early in the book, the Palestinian protestors decide to switch gears and start using non-violent protest techniques ala Gandhi and King. Lo and behold, the conflict ended, with the Palestinians getting nearly everything that they wanted. Obviously, this is a work of fiction, but these protest techniques have worked in the past, but sadly, the leaders of the PA have never absorbed this idea, and their people have suffered for it.
